Ahh-wooooooo! Maria Wolf knocked this out of the park! Aliens, my all time favorite movie. I was excited to get a piece from a First Nation(Purépecha) artist as well. My 8th Great Grandmother, Marie Caribou, was Cree.

Well I can tell you My Man, looks better in person than on their site. I'm trying to go one-and-done per artist.... but got ichy fingers as soon as I had this in hand. I assumed it was digital blues, but nope, that's all traditional.

Wow! This deserves to be printed in black and white or just with one color. There is no way a colorist could do justice to this.

I'm gonna get me a piece by Maria soon! Perfect subject matter for her style. "Game over, man, game over!" ;) I'm sure you've pored over this one lots. Aliens is definitely a fave flick of mine as well. Congrats!

i remember seeig the print @ c2e2 this past spring. KILLER stuff! the original work really shows the effort! so much detail. this is stellar!
