Another lovely piece by Bruce Timm, this time of Jean Grey in her non-dark Phoenix outfit! I really could not pass this piece up when it came up, despite the Stan Lee signature marring the art...

He did a wonderful job with the shading here on the figure that makes it really stand out against the dark background.

Stan Lee's signature dates it from that era as Timm's commission level artwork was still attainable, but getting increasingly difficult to obtain. Wonderful display of reds, gold and greens against the lightning!
