Another great commission from Jerry Ordway. JLA 111 was the first book I bought that got me into collecting as a kid. Jerry took the image for the main story (as it was a 100 page issue) and changed it to use JSA characters.

This is way cool! Those 100 pagers had great eye appeal! This is based off the main image of the #111 cover and tips the scales for appreciating Jerry Ordway as one of the greats.

Yeah, I used to love those 100 page issues. At the time I didn't realize they could afford to do those as it had 2 or so reprints in them, but as a kid it was so cool to get so much for a reasonable price.
