Description

It's no secret that I absolutely adore the MJ & Gwen painting that Jefter Leite did for me. A couple of years ago, I discovered his work on Instagram and ordered a commission. Considering his very reasonable rates, I got a few more things.

This is one of two commissions, set up in December 2021, which has arrived this month. The process was frustrating and lacked communication at certain points. Dates kept getting pushed back, et cetera et cetera. In the end, though, I do like the two paintings, as Jefter is clearly very talented in his Coipel-inspired style.

This piece was my secondary choice out of the prelims he did, and shows the feline villain trying to grab a diamond in a museum. The other commission is a follow-up scene. Both were done on 11x17 board with pencils and watercolor paint.
