Description

The 1st Geoff Johns Issue of Green Lantern...and Hal Jordan's return to greatness....How did I end up with such a piece of DC History? I had this piece on hold months before the cover was even drawn! I took a gamble and bought this not knowing if the story would be good or just plain suck. Green Lantern got me into reading comics way back in the late 80's, and I took a chance this story would be great and it paid off. This is probably one of the best Green Lantern stories since Emerald Dawn. This piece also paved the pathway for picking up Sinestro Corps War #1 and Blackest Night #1 from Ethan Van Sciver over the years...And I am proud to give this a home!

Ethan has done some of his finest work on Green Lantern, and of that some of his finest GL art is found in the Rebirth series. Just like the terrific cover that you have here. You took a gamble and it paid off handsomely. Tremendous congratulations!
