I'm kind of a panel page guy, but Darwyn's use of the splash in this series was very effective and, artistically, this is one of the best.

It's odd, because the published page has a bit more to the picture at the top and bottom (almost as if the original art has been slightly trimmed). I've never heard of the original art showing LESS. Not sure why that would be. Any ideas?

Great stuff! And regarding the missing parts on the original art: No clue ;) . But maybe they must have added things to make it fit onto the standardized pages of an album? My splashes/ pages from that run do have all different sizes.
