Description

I had a opportunity to provide the book design and illustration for a new novel, "Inside the Circle" written by Randall 'Jay' Andrews. The author had seen my previous ballpoint pen sketches and requested the style of the book be handled with that look. Medium: A Bic ballpoint pen. Size: 15"x20" on illustration board.

Wow! Its almost wrong that you can achieve such a great look with a bic ink pen. Congrats on another great piece.

Thanks so much Will! It's a wonderful thing about hatching, creating subtle blends not on the page, but requires optical participation from the viewer to do so. Fun stuff.
