Captain America sketch, by Sal Buscema

Since I have been a fan of Sal Buscema's work for years, it was a thrill to finally meet him at a NYC comicon in Nov 2002. I waited in line THREE HOURS for Sal Buscema. It took so long because Sal Buscema was doing FREE head sketches for everyone. You cannot fault the man for such a generous giving of his time and talent. He took the time to talk to each and every person on line. I got a sketch of Captain America, and had several Cap issues signed. Definitely the highlight of that show for me.
