Description

Always wanted to add some original Valiant color art to my collection. Valiant Comics had a really nice and original process for their coloring. I hate the current digital colors in comics. This was a technique created by Janet (JayJay) Jackson and Jim Shooter. Basically it's a reduced photocopy of the ink art, mounted on a hard-board and then hand painted using Doc Martin Watercolors.
These pages look amazing in person the colors are so vibrant. Often between some scanning and bad printing many comics come out dark, muddy or even sometimes the colors are wrong. Only if you have seen some original pages can you appreciate what the colorists were doing.
