Description

First and last pages from the cover story "Death Held the Lantern High" published in Ghosts 17, August 1973. No credits are provided but Alcala's initials can be found in the final panel (not that Alcala's wonderful inking could be confused with anyone else's!). The story was written by Leo Dorfman and was reprinted in DC Special Blue Ribbon Digest 6 (Jan.-Feb. 1981).
