Description

"The Boss" is a huge Nancy Drew nerd, so I commissioned this faux cover from Stephanie Buscema last year in advance of her birthday.

Stephanie and I kicked around a couple ideas based on the idea of a cover for that Nancy Drew book that should have happened, but never did. I think Stephanie mentioned "ghost pirates" and I was sold. Includes a lot of elements from those first Drew painted covers, and Stephanie's work speaks for itself.

This is brilliant and completely captures the spirit of the old Nancy Drew covers. Love the phantom pirates!
