Description

ROM: SPACEKNIGHT art show and tribute comic pin-up

This piece was drawn for an art exhibit on December 6, 2007 and comic published by the Portalnd based shop, Floating World comics. Jason Leivian organized the event and pulled in art from several comic book and graphic novel artists for the project. Proceeds from the event and book went to ROM creator, Bill Mantlo.

This art was also published in Brandon's Royalboiler art book published October, 2018.

Here are Brandon's background for this piece:
"The idea was to show who Roms been hanging out with since the 80's. The indian girl and dude in the back are related, he's like her uncle and they use sound as weapons.(flute wind weapons) he's a badassed space surfer. The tiger carries the soul of a dead man in the helmet around his neck and the little 4 eyed kid is an alien that communes with nature. This is a scene where someone is meeting with Rom to talk serious buizness. Anything you have to say to Rom you can say in front of his dudes."
