June is Gay Pride Month! The Romance of Northstar and Kyle: Flying over NYC, Page 17 from Astonishing X-men #49

This is the third page in the series of four where Northstar and Kyle are flying around NYC discussing their relationship.

This is my favorite page. I love the empire state building in the background. Most of all, Northstar shuts up Kyle's tirade about how he doesn't have superpowers and how Northstar should find someone like himself. This is my favorite page because it's here that Northstar-just says, center page, "I Love You. I've Never Loved Anyone As Much As I Love You"

Here we find that like many superheroes who fall in love, there is a reason why superhuman loves human. Kyle grounds Northstar and as he says, "When I'm With You....You Make Me Feel Like There's Nothing Wrong With Me."
