Dredd finishes off the Klegg with a exploding lawgiver!

This is a delicate piece, as Paul favours working on 45g/m2 paper so that it is much easier to see through when he places it over his initial roughs/pencils art. He can then trace and tighten up the finished art onto the layout paper without having to use a lightbox.

Luckily for me, Paul was searching through a drawer of artwork and came across the pencil prelim. He usually throws them away, so it was lucky this one survived and that he found it. He kindly let me have it to go with the inked page. He photocopies the pencils up to A3 paper size to then lay the inking paper over the top of them

Paul said it was a piece he was reluctant to let go. I'm glad he did, as it's fabulous!
