Description

I have always loved how Philip draws Daredevil and have wondered how his take on the battle armored type is going to look like.

So I commissioned one from him at Wondercon '13.

I'm loving the result.

Philip did a fantastic job with the dark tone, background and especially the armored suit. Hopefully we'll see more of him drawing Daredevil.

Philip makes the armored version of DD's costume look really formidable and visually interesting. The gargoyle-feature that he's standing on is also brilliantly conceived. Congrats, Martin!

Everything fits so perfectly. Battle armor DD in perfect stance, a gargoyle with an industrial feel... and the moodiness! I'm completely green with envy.
