This was just too cool a piece to pass up (thanks Mike). I love Aaron's ink work and "Kit Carter" has a great campy space girl vibe. Here's what Aaron had to say about the piece:

Kit Carter is a strange phenomenon. Back in 2011 I was trying to come up with a concept for the cover to my sketchbook. Since I am a fan of 50's sci-fi (comics and movies) I came up with Kit Carter and drew a piece called Kit Carter vs. The Astro Zombies. After penciling it, it became evident to me that I would never get it inked and colored in time to meet my self imposed Comic Con deadline. So I ended up doing about 4 other concept pieces and finally settled for the one that is on the cover of my 2011 Sketchbook. I took all of these pencil "roughs" with me to Comic Con and also posted them on line. Before I knew it, a sort of cult following emerged for the character just based on those initial concept pieces. So I turned the Astro Zombie and The Molten Menace into finished pieces and colored them to use as prints.

A lot of people are wondering when the comic is coming out, but I never envisioned it as being more than 50's sci-fi parody piece. I am thinking of developing it into a comic when I have the time but right now I am just making the occasionally print.

I think we need to encourage Aaron on this one- it would be a GREAT comic!
