DescriptionI got this in Baltimore 2009, the day before the convention started. Jim Lee threw out the first pitch of an Orioles game and then did some sketches for the relatively smallish number of fans who showed up. I do remember the first clown in his line, even at the baseball game, was some dude with a literal suitcase full of stuff he tried to get signed. C'mon man, move along for the rest of the people behind you.I'm glad I got this when I did, because he was SWARMED at the convention (as always) and had to stop doing sketches altogether. This is actually the first sketch I ever got...up until this point, it never even occurred to me that I could get them. This started it all for me and is the first official piece of "original" art that I ever owned. Social/Sharing |
