I would say 'publisher's loss', except for the fact that whatever you re-submitted was just as good if not better anyway. Great dynamic piece - thank you for sharing it!

When I picked up the published French #3 cover, as much as I loved it, I always wondered what it would look like if Doc Ock wasn't in silhouette. Now having seen this one, I would have to say that having him in shadow was a lot more dramatic. I guess I should be glad that they made you go back to the drawing board (although it probably wasn't as much fun for you). Still, you can't go wrong with either version. Your Spidey covers always rock!
