DescriptionFrank Springer always did an admirable job balancing the dictates of the Comics Code Authority and good taste against the obvious temptation to provide Dazzler readers the titillating content they almost certainly wanted. In Dazzler #21, Springer took the opportunity to serve up healthy portion of cheesecake as Alison and her friend Vanessa try on a number of outfits at a clothing boutique. Of note, it’s interesting to see in the original art that the last three panels were cut out and rearranged in order to ensure that she ended the page fully clothed before they leave the dressing room.Social/Sharing |

Dang! I missed bidding on this one! I like the way this page looks like one of those fashion comics Marvel did way back in the day.

Funny and nice piece. Springer did a great job in avoiding the infamous CCA.
