Firmada: Jean Torton (abreviado).Un ejemplo paradigmático de la buena bande dessinée de género histórico (en este caso histórico-biográfico) que siempre se ha hecho en Francia y Bélgica, basada en un dibujo realista de gran academicismo y corrección y en una puesta de escena cuidadísima (que se sostiene con una labor documental minuciosa y una recreación de ambientes cuidados hasta el máximo detalle).
