Description

This is one of my favorite and IMO one of the most powerful Superman images of all time. As always, Scott put his all into it as he captured such a heartwrenching moment of Superman holding the child. I couldn't resist getting such a great piece of art but most importantly it reminds me how blessed I am. I'm really glad I was able to be part of a great cause with this purchase. This is the best way I've ever spent money on art. I hope you enjoy and donate to help fight the hunger in the Horn of Africa.

Here is the 'story' Scott wrote for this image: "The devastation of the African famine is represented in the frail, thin form of the starving child. The power of America and her partners is represented in the massive, chiseled, granite-like form of Superman. With arms that can move mountains, and with compassion clearly etched on his face, he gently lifts the child out of poverty. But the child is not alone. There are so many others, faceless and nameless, that need to be lovingly lifted as well, as the poverty stretches farther than the eye can see."
