Description

As I said to Eric in an email tonight, he always takes the most complex scenarios and turns them into something incredible.

This scene from West Coast Avengers 8 fits nicely into my theme as it recounts the short stretch when the Thing was being recruited to become a full-fledged WCA member. The heroes teamed up for a few issues before going their separate ways. Issue #8 - with the West Coast Avengers battling it out with the Rangers at their California headquarters - is my favorite from this run. Eric packed a ton into this drawing, including (from top-left) Ghost Rider (aka Phantom Rider), Texas Twister, Hawkeye, Firebird, the Thing, Tigra and Shooting Star.

Sweet Aunt Petunia, I'm loving this so much I'm almost hyperventilating. How often do you get to see the Rangers in a commission? Awesome!
