Description

This is the Eyebeam strip original from May 5, 1984. It's an outstanding example of the delightful flavor of Sam Hurt's quirky humor, one of the reasons this comic has always appealed to me so much. In 2012, well after this photo was taken, Sam was kind enough to retouch (by hand) the fading pen used on some of the dinosaur scales, the mailbox, the telephone, and the background. He also added a graphic header (as is usually present in his strips) when I asked about the lack of one.
