DescriptionThis is one of my favorite pages from Wolverine and the X-Men so far. Essentially because of the first panel where Beast, having just pulled a violent and aggressive Broo off of Professor Starblood, tries to calm the little fella. Broo is, afterall, just a child and realizing what he has just done, even if it was to save Kitty Pryde, shakes his world to the core. I love the fact that there is this very clear distinction between the adult Beast and the child Broo. All too often, kids in comics, especially in the X-Univerese, are portrayed like little adults. Not so here. You can see the shock and damage that this act and experience has done to little Broo's world.I picked up these blueline inks from Norman Lee at the Boston Comic Con. Nick's pencils had already been sold but if you have them please drop me a line.
