Description

Karl Richardson's fantastic Prog 1845 cover. This is the pencil prelim that he used to then ink the cover page. Karl usually digitally paints his covers, but decided to use pencil and ink for this one in order to keep his hand in with this technique.

I absolutely love the detail in the piece, particularly the cross-hatching for the shaded areas.
