Description

Walking around NYC con in 1999 just the start of my OA happiness. I came upon Herb Trimpe who was doing con sketches. An hour or so later another collector had a full Hulk 181 recreation that he was showing a dealer. I went to Herb and we discussed having him do a full cover recreation for me. Coming home I tried to remember which Incredible Herb, I mean Hulk cover was for me the most memorable. I choose the Incredible Hulk 169 all Herb Trimpe. I still smile everyday, Herb was a truly tremendous talent and very down to earth man. I am truly grateful for the commission and the conversation with a wonderful gentleman with a very creative imagination.
