Description

The second I saw a partial preview for this piece on Stefano's blog (basically just a view of their heads), I just knew I would have to have it. The full reveal just blew me away. Army of Darkness came out when I was about 11 or 12, and I absolutely loved it. Still enjoy watching it these days. I'm also a huge Hack/Slash fan, and Cassie Hack is one of the characters I tend to collect. Stefano Caselli was the first Hack/Slash artist and (along with Tim Seeley himself), one of my 2 favourites. And finally, this is probably my absolute favourite Hack/Slash image to date. Sum all of that up, and this piece is as close to a "grail" as I get for published comic art. I made an initial inquiry to Stefano about this piece when it was on his blog but missed out. Luckily, I saw it posted on CAF and was able to swing a deal to bring it home...lol.
This piece was done in gouache and colored pencils, and the actual art extends a bit further than the scan I have, but my scanner is much too small to get a clean pic of the entire thing.
