DescriptionOkay, long story short was that Maureen, my wife, knew I had missed out on getting a sketch by Adam at MegaCon and Pittsburgh. So she offered to wait in line hoping to change my luck, and also pay for it as a Father's Day present. Well, her luck paid off! As it turned out when we got their Friday morning the line was already really long so I was already feeling down. But as it turned out you had to go down and escalator to get to the show, and they were holding everyone back behind that. My 7 month old was with us so we had the stroller. They let us take the elavator down to the bottom of the escalator so we were able to be one of the very first people into the show. Even then, people were racing past us to get in Adam's line. Well, he was an hour late, but Mo held strong and ended up being 5th on his list. All she asked for was a "cute" Jean Grey, and this is what Adam came up with. Am I a happy father? YOU BET! I can't wait to thank Adam at San Diego! Thanks also go out to Maureen, who loves this drawing and claims co-ownership!Social/Sharing |

One of my favorite Hughes sketches ever! Congrats, and make sure you bring that wife of yours breakfast in bed!

One of my favorite Adam Hughes sketches - I've always liked the pet carrier with the two wide eyes and the paw coming out. ;)

A Great Story that has a Happy Ending... well deserved! It's always heart warming to hear true fans rewarded for their efforts. Happy forthcoming Father's Day to you and your family too! This is a great piece!

Matrimonial bliss and a great con story to go with a "cute" Adam Hughes' sketch, what more does one need?

Jean looks adorable in a cute, girl-next-girl way, and the floating luggage allows us to see hints that the young lady would become a force to be reckoned with. Belated Happy Father’s day, and felicitations to Adam, who has created what has just become my favourite drawing of his. - Francois

I like this piece. It shows that adam is not just about sexiness and sultriness. The cuteness in this piece is great.

Of course its untouchable. Its drawn in pencil so can smudge. Get the spray fixative before you touch it. Lol. Lovely artwork.

This might be my favorite AH piece I've ever seen. And I'm not even an X-fan.
