Retroband Creepshow Boxes

in the past year the company retroband has put out a couple creepshow inspired action figures. the figures and card art are certainly wicked enough but as an added bonus following the philosophy that a package might not add to the product it certainly can add to the purchase experience the boxes those figures are sent in have scenes stencil/painted on the sides. here are the images from the four figures i was fortunate enough to purchase. very cool in my opinion.

"People often ask me why I paint on my boxes. As a child I specifically remember Tom Savini dress up as The Creep unloading packages from the back of the truck in the film Creepshow 2. I would envy Billy every time I’d watch that scene! My heart would race when ever I received any package at home as a kid. I’d always fantasize that my package would animate and come to life just like the film. The art on the boxes is my effort in making that happen for those who felt the same way."

the jordy verrill figure included a creepshow print by artist cody schibi. i love the art for arts sake. great effort all around.
