My guess, he didn't bother looking... Machine Man was in the past... his only consideration is for the future.

Too cool...I wrote him as a akid in the 70's...he sent me a letter an a copy of Mr A..I have it stored "somewhere".

Very cool! Excellent initiative! It never hurts to ask. Incredible how he replied to what seems like every letter.
