DescriptionI've bought this strip a while ago from an Italian collector and I've kept it as it was, matted and framed under glass by the former owner (hence the so-so image, sorry). The syndicate label is missing, but thanks to fellow CAF member Derek I've learned it dates back to 1967. (pen & ink on artboard, roughly 22"x 7" image area - signed) Click HERE to see all comic strips in my Gallery And HERE to see the other Caniff's piece in my Gallery Social/Sharing |

I fondly remember reading the Steve Canyon newspaper strip each day when I was a kid; congratulations on such a nice example that brings back those childhood memories for me!

Exceptional! Caniff was a master storyteller. The staging in this is perfect

Caniff has always been an incredible storyteller, but I had always preferred his late days!
