DescriptionThis is a full color production proof transparency from the last issue in the series. This proof has no text/lettering. At this point Ken Wind, the demon/politician, has demolished Garrett, aka the "Ugly Guy" and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, and now it's Wind against Elektra in the final showdown. Sienkiewicz's multimedia artwork made his pages somewhat difficult to photograph and color correct for print publishing. Most of the lettering was done after the original are was photoed and copied to stat pages later. My heart goes out to Gaspar Saladino, the letterer, for dealing with a very challenging lettering situation around 1985/86 when the computers weren't really around to make the job a good deal simpler for both artist and letterer.Social/Sharing |
