Description

I'm really glad the great Kevin Nowlan got to ink this amazing graphic novel, over Gil Kane and John Buscema. He did a wonderful job. On this Buscema page, Kevin does what great inkers always do: keep the feel of the penciller, while adding something of their own. I love how Kevin handled the crowd. As they fade to the back, they are just loose, brushy shapes.

And, of course, the work by Buscema, even at this advanced stage of his career, is lovely. Such weight and sensitivity.
