DescriptionLeinil was conducting a charity event for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan and the highest donor would get a full body 11 x 17 commission from him.I've been wanting to get a full body commission from Leinil for the longest time. He is one of the definitive Wolverine artist in my book and I just have to get one from him. I've gotten 2 Wolverines from him in the past but never had the chance to get a full body one. So I was so thrilled to be getting this opportunity. I donated fully knowing that there's no guarantee of winning one but I thought I'd give it a shot. If I win, good, if not, then at least I get to help people. I was a bit let down to be honest when Leinil announced that a surprisingly big donor came in. But he was such a class act and said that he would also do one for the runner-up, since the highest donor donated a really huge amount of money, way above the minimum. I was the runner-up. I was so happy. Finally. So here it is. Leinil did more than he should. I'm really really pleased with the outcome. It's another one I can cross off my bucket list. I'll be framing this one soon as I already have a sweet spot for it on my wall. Thank you so much, Leinil! Social/Sharing |
