Description

The second of my two newest Pete Hawley acquisitions. It turns out this was used for a toilet paper ad by the Swanee Paper Corporation using the tagline, "Specially for families with children". So far, I've found the ad published in the March 29, 1960, issue of Look Magazine and in several newspapers from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania in mid- to late 1959. The artwork itself is in black and white, and the color is applied to an acetate overlay.
