DescriptionIf you're not already a fan of Clayton, then you never saw his Ghost rider run; or his Iron Spidey books ... or his take on Carnage. But, the thing that would impress anyone that meets him is what a humble down to earth guy he is.You know, the first time I met him he was just doing sketches for people for free and he spent an hour talking with me and just sketching away on a Ghost Rider head sketch. I was so blown away by his generosity; so the next time I saw him in Seattle, I ordered a full color painted commission from him. And, it's not easy for me ... I broke the bank for it. But, I figured that, not only would I love more art from Clayton, but that he had already spent so much time on that first sketch ... he just deserved it. Time passed and he stayed in contact but, as you may know, his career has been taking off. So, he was just too busy at times to connect with me and I was having a harder time getting to Seattle for his main convention. The other day a package arrived and I saw the sender: Clayton Crain! So, I open it up and there's this little painting in there; BAM! Exactly what the doctor ordered ... what more could I ask for? well, I was about to toss the box when I noticed a little piece of tape. coming from the bottom of the box ... there was a panel in the box that fit so perfectly flush into the bottom, I almost didn't notice it was there. I pulled the little tape and there was an extra compartment with two more paintings! Social/Sharing |

I can't believe how awesome the story behind this and the other Iron Spidey painting is wow... and to think they would nearly end up in trash yikes! I must have felt like X-mas finding that hidden compartment lol

Great story! Did you post the other two paintings?
I did. And one of the others should be in this same gallery room. It's a Storm (X-Men) painting. Let me check the gallery room and make certain it's listed here. Otherwise, I'll post it tomorrow
