Description

Original page from "Silver Surfer: Parable", fruit of the legendary collaboration of Stan Lee and Moebius. This page is made with pen, ink and blank corrector. The helicopter of the first panel is an original art paste-up.

This tale of morality and of the nature of man, told by an alien was first published in the 4-colour comic book format (a special request by Moebius) as a two-part miniseries and then as a deluxe hardcover in December 1988. More recently, it’s been reprinted in a trade paperback in 1998. For this album, Moebius was the penciler, inker, colorist and the letterer. The late master artist brings a unique vision to the super hero genre with simple, yet poetic illustrations that mesmerize.

I’m particularly proud to own a page of this mythic album, but my pleasure is doubled by the prelim sketch of Galactus on back of the page.

I've had a copy of this book on my shelf for 20 years now. it was my first exposure to Moebius, it's such a great piece of work. The sketch on the back is a delight!Isn't it great to find such a bonus? Congrats. great page.
