DescriptionYou may think you know Dave as the fantastic inker of Gene Colan's work, but take a closer look at Dave's own work. He's an amazingly creative artist with crazy amounts of energy on top of being just a real good guy. For this commission, I simply asked Dave to go crazy on a MODOK piece. After letting the thought enter his mind and soak a bit, Dave obvously started going crazy. MODOK worked his usual magic, and these pencils appeared to the surprise of its creator. But the pencils were just the beginning...(insert B-grade movie cackle here)Social/Sharing |

I have rarely seen Dave's unadorned pencils, but they are just as impressive as his inked and painted work. What a fantastic piece! And you, Kasra, are insane, but in a very good way. I look forward to meeting you soon!
