Description
When there's no more room in hell... the dead shall walk Ararat! Danny and Trucker move to the zombie beat - and for the latter, this will be his last dance. An absolutely superlative splash indeed - and to make it even scarier, it's not till now that I've noticed that the 'instant' war zombie is rising up right in-between Danny's legs (his foot's round the back of it.) Some pretentious sod would probably point out the appropriateness of this - death emerging at the anatomical point where life is traditionally engendered - but you won't get any of that out of me. I'd simply like to praise Ewins's brilliant character posing - the highlight of the page is probably the drop-jawed Trucker, who has effectively seen his own demise.

On a totally different note - I'm just looking at the page now, and man, that zombie has long arms...

Thanks to Dale Jackson for letting this one (and the 'Danny as Kano' page) go.

After you die your arms keep on growing! A classic page much redrawn in my misspent youth trying to draw like Brett Ewins! Wonderful.

Make it over to Dublin and you can have a look at my Bolland rip offs that I did as a kid. The amount of time wasted on comics. I did like this page though. Still do, despite the arm length. The guys knuckles must literally have dragged on the ground. Clearly done this way for effect and what an effect it is!
