DescriptionI have wanted to get a commission by Eric for a while. I love his realistic drawing of the anatomy and the blending of colors which make for a surreal effect. We decided to add Captain America to offset Daredevil and I think it works very well. I appreciate that he drew the scales on Caps suit, a detail that definitely goes a long way. The rain effect is my favorite touch which gives the piece a moody feel. Overall, I am very pleased with this piece and would highly recommend him for a commission.18 x 13 gouache painting. Excellent work by Eric, the rain effects are gorgeous, what a breathtaking piece! You can just imagine DD perched there, filtering out the storm as he 'listens' for crime.

I know Eric's work is amazing, but this goes beyond even that. The scales on Cap's uniform, the rain, DD's look of concentration... Congrats, D!

Thanks for posting this D! My time on Eric's list just got shorter! Seriously though,this is an incredible piece. The best I have seen from Eric yet! Congrats Sir!

Fantastic painting! A bold choice to have the closer drops of rain so prominent, but it works in contrasting with those office block lights in the background and emphasizing the sense of scale. The details are just great, like the laces on Cap's boots! Knockout!

I can honestly say this is the first piece on CAF that actually made me say "Holy Sh!t!" Out loud. This is ridiculous.
