Charles Vess Rose #2 Page 6 Original Art (Cartoon Books, 2001). While Rose faces danger with honor, her elder sister, Princess Briar, follows a more sinister path. An unforgettable story with beautiful, sweeping artwork, this prequel explores the fateful beginnings of the epic Bone saga. This is a truly terrific page from a wonderful, underrated artist. The image area measures 10" x 14.5". Signed by Vess in its lower right corner.

I've been looking for one of these pages for ages. Very few came out to the market, and those ones were not affordable to me. But we all know in this hobby that patience is a "virue", and I was lucky enough to get this wonder at auction.
