Description

I was happy to buy this from a fellow CAFer when I saw it pop up for a few reasons
1. Brian Bolland
2. Judge Dredd - my first piece of Bolland Dredd art
3. London - From a freebie Entertainment magazine you see around London which is where I spent quite a few summers - background is London, of course
4. Signed to Wally..whom I bought some of my first art from back in late 1980s..if it isn't 'To Mark' then 'To Wally' is a close second
5. It is nicely detailed like many Bolland prelims

Real nice Dredd. It also has "I am the law" always a plus in the definitive Dredd portraits. Congratulations.

I always thought this prelim was ironic as Dredd is holding up his lawgiver gun without a magazine, so it has no bullets to fire. Bolland having a slight dig at Dredds extreme form of justice. I love Brians work.
