Description

Used as the first color cover (1996) for "The Jack Kirby Collector," the original pencils appeared as the back cover. This was originally draw by Rude, light-boxed over the Kirby art, for the "21st Century Archives" Kirby Card set. According to the note inside the front cover of The Jack Kirby Collector #8, "no one is quite sure what it was originally drawn for, but the characters and background bear a striking resemblance to those on page 5 of New Gods #1
