Description

Mad Magazine #153, Original Mort Drucker Art, Sept 1972, "Dirty Larry".
Iconic parody of the classic "Dirty Harry", with Clint Eastwood and the rest of the cast absolutely nailed by the one and only Mort Drucker.

This 49 year old complete story contains all seven (7) pages of original art, with several classic and memorable moments in San Francisco and Marin County that the avid Mad reader from the early 70′s will no doubt recall. The Splash and Second pages each have image areas measuring roughly 17″ x 18″, while the other pages each measure 17″ x 20″. First page signed by Mr. Drucker.

Mort Drucker drew 238 Film Spoofs for Mad Magazine in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s, or 52.3% of all Mad Magazine Film Spoof parodies. He also drew 113, or 30.46 % of all Mad Magazine TV Show Parodies.

In total, Mort Drucker's legacy includes 351 Film and TV Spoofs drawn for Mad Magazine over a period of five (5) decades. Mort was an absolute American treasure! RIP 4/8/2020.

I don't think anyone has ever done caricature as well as the great Mort Drucker- from likenesses to body language to impeccable inking skill, he is the vert best!!!
