DF Mary Marvel - Emerald City Comic Convention 2014

What can I say about Derek Fridolfs? He's a great guy, very humble but loaded with talent. Mostly a writer, but I love to see his artwork as well. This piece is a little unfair as I caught him on the last day of the convention so he didn't have much time, but I think he did a great job. Unfamiliar with the character as well, he was very accomodating to me, so much so, that I felt a little guilty putting him under the gun like that. The result is a beautiful piece of one of my favorite characters.
