This is a piece Ben Dunn, founder of Antarctic Press and creator of the Marvel Mangaverse, did for me in the Fall of 2013.

The Japanese, female, version of The Punisher: school principal during the day, vengeful geisha by night!

... A version of the character that never needs to be seen again... this is why Eastern and Western characters don't mix.

But what a noble failure! I loved the concept, and his interpretation looks better than the original art in the actual comic, I think. I appreciate that Marvel at least tries something different now and then (Amalgam Comics, the U.S. reprint of Japan's Spider-Man, Stan Lee jumping to DC for his "Just Imagine" series..... yeah, and that raccoon with a gun. Because Jaxxon in the Star Wars comics didn't quite work out.)
