Description

Harry Bliss is a cartoonist and cover artist for the New Yorker. His one panel cartoons are syndicated and appear daily in the Tribune Syndicate. I think he's just great. He's smart and funny, and he's got a little edge, but I think the real reason I like him is that he has a habit of putting comic book hero references in his cartoons.

This cartoon, which appeared on April 22nd, is a perfect example. It's good to a bystander, but it's way more funny to those of us that grew up worshiping the shrine of Spider-man.
