DescriptionI’m back again my CAF friends! This is my newest commission of an exotic Wonder Woman rendered by the great Gennadiy Koufay! This artwork speaks volumes and is brought to life by the realism & creative genius of the renowned artist!Diana of Themyscira is an Amazon warrior with many attributes such as enchanting beauty, great strength, speed, wisdom, invulnerability & heroism. Sculpted from earthen clay by her mother Queen Hippolyta, Princess Diana was destined for greatness and soon began to hone her fighting skills as an Amazon warrior early in life. If that weren’t enough, her gifts/attributes were bestowed upon her from the Pantheon of Greek Gods that sit atop Mt. Olympus. After winning a contest to be mankind's protector, it was off to America. Wonder Woman (alter ego - Diana Prince) has vowed to protect America and all mankind while fighting in the name of truth & justice. She has done so since coming to man’s world from Paradise Island and denouncing the Amazonian code of hatred towards all men. A true iconic symbol, Wonder Woman is a founding member of the JLA and is by far the most heralded female heroine in all of comic book lore, and she is brought to life here!!! At this time we have Wonder Woman thwarting a heist of a bank vault holding millions in valuables & gems!!! Catching the thugs by surprise, they begin to unleash a barrage of bullets at our super-heroine!!! By the look on her face, Diana means business as she fluently repels the incoming projectiles and covets serious payback!!! I hate it for those crooks when they run out of bullets!!! Maybe these crooks will be smart and just surrender!!! Lol!!! This dazzling commission has been on Mr. Koufay’s schedule for 8 months and I’m very pleased with the results. This is the second commission I have had done by Mr. Koufay to date (checkout my Storm artwork). He is the master of erotica & illustrating women for pin-up artwork bar none. This work of art is probably one of the finest Wonder Woman interpretations I have ever seen and I am not just saying that to toot my own horn!!! This inspired portrayal of the Amazonian princess was rendered on heavy illustration board and is comprised of acrylic, gouache & watercolor mediums. It measures a respectable 17” x 11” and is signed & dated by Mr. Koufay. Social/Sharing |
