Description
One of the big attractions with Gladstone´s Disney comics in the 1980s was Daan Jippes´ covers. This versatile, dynamic and elegant artist could with apparent ease create Barks-like covers for Barks stories and Gottfredson-like covers for Gottfredson Mickey Mouse stories. This cover from 1987 illustrates Barks´ Uncle Scrooge story A Cold Bargain, originally published in US 17.
