Description

I first learned of Craig Yoe through his books. I especially liked his The Golden Collection of Klassic Krazy Kool Kids Komics since it had a generous slice of Sheldon Mayer goodness.

When I discovered that he was going to be at Comicpalooza, I made sure to stop by and visit with him. Once again, he extracted money from my billfold with his book Comics about Cartoonists because it reprints some Mayer Scribbly stories.

Even better, the particular copy that I bought had a "sketchable" cover. That is, the cover had an area where Craig could draw. I never realized how good an artist he is. When I bought the book, I thought I was taking a risk in getting something drawn by him, but I was wrong. The self portrait is constantly amusing.
